Day 1

Leave Dublin and travel to Limerick City, via the heritage town of Adare, Co. Limerick

Lunch and Explore Limerick City 

Discover the history of St. Johns Castle, Limericks 13th Century Norman Castle

Staying overnight in Limerick City


Day 2

Travel to Killaloe, Co. Clare, the birthplace of Brian Boru and enjoy a cruise on Lough Derg.

Learn about the Great Famine at Portumna, Co. Galway.

Staying overnight in Co. Galway


Day 3

Today we will enjoy a river cruise on Irelands longest River, The Shannon.

Stopping off at 6th Century Monastic site, Clonmacnoise. Founded by St. Kevin contains fine examples of Celtic Crosses.

Staying overnight in Athlone, Co. Westmeath


Day 4

Starting the day we will explore Athlone in the heart of Ireland.

Discover the history of Athlone Castle built in the 12th Century

Have a pint in Europe’s oldest bar, Seans Bar

We will leave Athlone and travel to one of Irelands oldest whiskey distilleries, Kilbeggan Distillery in Co. Westmeath.

Depart and travel to Rathcrogan, one of Irelands Royal Sites in Co. Roscommon.

Staying overnight in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim


Day 5

Today we will travel to Leitrim village where we will have the option to hike, bike or kayak to Acres Lake, Drumshambo Co. Leitrim

Visit the Sliabh on Iarann Centre(Iron Mountain)

Discover the Arigna Mining Experience, Leitrim

Staying Overnight in Sligo Town


Day 6

We will depart Sligo town and travel to the Glencar Waterfall, Co. Leitrim.

Departing Glencar, we will travel to the UNESCO Geo Site of the Marble Arch Caves in Co. Fermanagh.

We will then explore the Cavan Burren, Co. Cavan

Staying Overnight in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh


Day 7

Departing in the morning we will travel to 16th Century Enniskillen Castle and learn about the history of the Ulster Plantation.

Enjoy Lough Erne 

We will have lunch and free time before departing for Dublin
